Chiller TXV Calibration at Setpoint

Adding to our chats about TXV adjustments.
It is best to make adjustments when the load is close to setpoint.
For a chiller, this would mean leaving water temp being at or close to setpoint.
If the values are way off during the pull down then some preliminary adjustments should be made.
I recommend making the final tuning adjustments close to setpoint.
Building on this I like to tune my high load first if I have the option.
You know those pesky winter repairs....
Once I'm happy with my upper end values then I'll see about ramping the system down to evaluate the low end.
Keep in mind that just because the compressor is unloaded doesn't directly correlate to an actual low load condition.
It does help give an idea of how the valve could perform though.
