NAVAC NRDC4M Recovery Machine
This is my go to all round recovery machine. It's built in subcooler is incredible. The ability to use the dials to control how the pump behaves is awesome.

Appion G5Twin Recovery Machine
Before the NRDC4M the G5Twin was my go to for a lot of years. It is still a great option if the NRDC4M is out of your budget.

RefTec Allvac ARH Recovery Machine
When I need to move large volumes of charge for water cooled chillers, this is my go to. This unit is awesome for low pressure and high pressure applications.

Yellow Jacket 1/2in x 1/2in 6ft Hose
These are incredible hoses for transferring refrigerant in large chillers. I suggest a set of these in your kit. Can be useful evacuation hoses when needed.

Yellow Jacket 3/8in x 3/8in 6ft Hose
Great for refrigerant transfer, especially in air cooled applications. For larger water cooled systems, consider the 1/2in.

Yellow Jacket 3/8in x 3/8in 4ft Hose
Sometimes the short length is preferred, especially if being used for evacuations.

Yellow Jacket Brute II 4 Port Manifold
I don't use manifolds often anymore, but my go to I've had for years is the Brute. This is an amazing product that holds up. All the years I have beat mine, I personally have not had to do a seal kit. This was common place for others sets I've used.

TruBlu Evacuation Kit
I saw these for years but was never sure about buying them. Then I tried them and HOLY COW are they amazing. If you have the budget, well worth the investment.

NAVAC NRD16T Vacuum Pump
There are large pumps out there for big water cooled chiller evacuation, but for most everyday applications this pump is great. It's oil management and temperature regulation for sustained pull downs is incredible. This is an easy recommendation.

Fieldpiece VPX7 Vacuum Pump
I was a big TEZ8 user for years but have seen issues with it in recent years. In this process the VPX7 has won my go to for air cooled chiller evacuations. It can handle water cooled too, but consider the NRD16T if that's your main focus.

Veto Pro Pac TECH MC
I love my bags, and I have kits for everything. In the end, the MC is my daily carry service bag. It's enough to carry what I need for daily service.

Fieldpiece SC680 True RMS Meter
It is difficult to pick a choice meter. There are several factors that play into this decision. This is my all around pick that balances several factors.

Yellow Jacket 3/8in x 1/2in Service Wrench
This is a must have for the larger service valve stems on chillers. I hate seeing where someone rounded a stem using pliers.

NAVAC NTW1 Torque Wrench
This is a good starting point for a torque wrench but does not fit every scenario. For example the minimum in-lb is 37. This is high for some applications. I like that you can change the head to a ratcheting head with 3/8in drive.

NAVAC NTRW38 3/8in Ratcheting Head
This is the ratchet head for the NAVAC torque wrench. I personally prefer to use a socket with my torque wrench instead of the open end. We also have a lot of bolts that are not hex head, so the open end doesn't work for chiller techs.

Klein 10in Spud Wrench
Chiller Techs deal with a lot of flanges. Having a couple of spud wrenches in your kit is helpful to get that stubborn flange where it belongs.
