Initial Post:

"Trying to figure out a intermittent issue im having with a RTAA.

The faults are as follows

A circuit shutdown has occured (press next)

Latched fault manual reset required (press next)

Press enter to clear circuit 1 diagnostic.

The only thing I see after that is history.

I say frequency that I do this is 2 times a month for this chiller. But no other issues that I can find. I looked in the manual to see if there is anything associated with the fault but it only states the red LED will blink, which it does. Any advice/help here? Chiller circuit 1 run fine after reset. Circuit 2 never trips out."

My Response:

"Ya those are the general alerts that show with every alarm but it should give you what tripped. What is history item 1?

I have seen this be a couple of intermittent issues.

Male load/unload valves beginning to fail.

Female unloader valve beginning to fail.

EXV in early stages of failure.

A temp sensor on the low pressure side intermittently failing.

Depending on how early the issue you could probably do some troubleshooting to narrow this down. Since it is happening this routine then the failure point should start to become noticeable."
