Welcome to the Hopkins Facility.

This is a single story facility with the chiller plant at ground level in a mechanical room. The AHU and Cooling Towers are in the roof with the AHU in their own penthouses.

This plant has two water cooled centrifugal chillers.

• CH1 is a YK
• CH2 is a CVHE

These chillers have a primary/secondary chilled water loop design. The condenser water loop is a common header with 2 cooling towers.

The chillers and towers are configured in parallel with the control system (BMS) using lead/lag logic.

There is 1 primary chilled water pump (CHWP) per chiller. There are 4 secondary CHWP on a common header.

The loop serves 4 air handling units (AHU) for comfort cooling of the facility. The AHU are cooling only with fan powered boxes (FPB).
